equestrian 'it girl' charlotte casiraghi is the new face of gucci

Pass the fortune cookie I'm up for a Freaky Friday moment where I swap bodies with Caroline Casiraghi for the day-oh gone on then, I can push that to a week or more if I have to, I'm sure I can cope!

Not only is she the rather gorgeous looking granddaughter of Grace Kelly, but she's an accomplished horse rider who competes in the Global Champions Tour and has her show jumping wardrobe designed by none other than Frida Giannini, Creative Director of Gucci.

And as if life couldn't get any better over the next two years she's going to be starring in Gucci's, 'Forever Now' advertising campaign series celebrating the brands design icons which all have equestrian themes.  The first ad features Gucci's signature green and red stripe which came about in the 50's when the brands founder Mr Gucci was inspired by saddle girths popular at the time.

Frida Giannini said  "Over the last two years I have had the pleasure and privilege to get to know Charlotte through our shared passion for horses. She not only embodies the beauty and the grace of the equestrian, but is also a wonderful ambassador for the sport."

Ah yes, I think I can fit quite comfortably into that body!! Well at least I am now the proud owner of a very fab-u-lous  Gucci Masters silk scarf but I don't think I'll hold out any hopes for a call from Frida just yet!

Yep it's Freaky Friday all right! Sack the stylist!
