I love these hot to trot images from Charlotte Dujardin's new website proving that she and Carl Hester can look just as stylish out of the saddle as in it. Does anyone know who took them or what they were for?
They really are the 'Cool Britannia' couple of British equestrianism at the moment aren't they. You can imagine meeting them down the pub and having a real good laugh rather than a 'larff' and I can't be the only one inspired by their relationship. Carl's generosity in letting Charlotte compete the obviously 'uber' talented Valegro (aka Blueberry) rather than keep him for himself makes him a mentoring legend.
Having a trainer who inspires and supports you is priceless if you want to achieve confidence and harmony with your horses, whether at home or in competition, but unfortunately many of us have to kiss a lot of frogs first!
