four fashion pieces that are hot to trot

the frill of horses

A major trend this autumn/winter is the modern goth and even though having small Jack Russells has caused me to veer away from the dark side, this season I've gone back to black and armed myself with a fresh roll of sellotape.

So, here are four of my favourite things for horse loving girls who like to go out in style...

I love a ruffle and the silky crepe dress by Nishe from Asos (above), covered with embroidered horses, kicks all the boxes.

This bag from Asos is definitely one you'll want in your clutches. I love the way the large tassle looks like a horses tail. I was given the 'nude' colour option for Christmas last year and will definitely be trotting it out this party season too proving good designs never date.

And while you're hanging out at Asos, take a look at this purse, it's gonna canter into in my bag as it has a lot of card compartments as well as a zip pocket for change-neigh, not just a pretty face.

For my last ye-hah I've chosen this western style shirt covered with a horse and rider motif and tiny dots, from another of my favourite shopping venues, Zara-the shop where I fully embraced my return to femme noir by buying a biker style coat with chunky silver coloured zips and studded black loafers. Paired with a pair of skinny black jeans this shirt looks effortlessly cool.

Giddy up and get back to black. Happy shopping x
